Job Summary : As an AWS Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying machine learning models on the AWS cloud platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, develop scalable and efficient solutions, and contribute to the overall data science and machine learning strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models using AWS services such as SageMaker, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Collaborate with data scientists to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Fine-tune models for performance and efficiency.
- Utilize AWS data storage and processing services such as S3, Glue, or Redshift.
- Deploy machine learning models on the AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Optimize and scale machine learning solutions for production environments.
- Ensure reliability, availability, and security of deployed models.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for machine learning model deployment.
- Monitor and manage model performance in production, making improvements as necessary.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in machine learning, AWS services, and related technologies.
- Make recommendations for adopting new tools or methodologies to enhance the machine learning workflow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, preferably on AWS.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with AWS services, including SageMaker, EC2, S3, Glue, and others.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, propose effective solutions, and implement them.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Certifications (desired but not mandatory):
- AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty.
